the central and most important point or place.
It is our mission to make the church the nexus of the community again by being the place where needs are met, where truth is known and where following Christ becomes, not just a choice, but a lifestyle.
This is what CrossingPoint is all about....
We believe it is our responsibility and privilege to proclaim the gospel by actually sharing our faith in Jesus Christ. In this we show love, by obeying God's commandments, loving every person, meeting people's needs where they are and telling them about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
In John 15, Christ says that "if you love me, you will keep My commandments". It is our calling to make disciples by providing a means for people to know and experience God through His Word. As we grow in knowledge, we grown in faith or trust in God. As we trust God more, we come to love Him more.
Because God gave us His all in Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit, we strive to do likewise by cultivating a culture of generosity. With a love for Christ and thankful hearts, we cheerfully give our time, talent and treasure back to God, knowing that if we sow bountifully, we shall reap bountifully and God will make all grace abound toward us so that we will have all sufficiency in all things so that we may abound in every good work (I Corinthians 9).
Jesus said, "I came to serve, not to be served". In His living and dying, Jesus taught us and called us to do the same. In His resurrection, Christ exemplified the victory that comes from a life dedicated to serving God's purpose. For this reason, we do not hold back our time, talent, or treasure when faced with the opportunity to make a life changing impact on those God allows to cross our paths.
